For each and every synthetic grass customer, we make sure we’re aware of the unique requirements for each particular garden. Clients’ input, right from the outset, is crucial to the success and usability of their gardens and, while we offer many years’ worth of advice and design suggestions from our work in the Geelong region, it’s the individual needs we always put first.

This month, our long-valued client, Mick, gave me a clear concept for his Grovedale backyard and how it was to present visually with artificial grass. Mick moved into his new home seven months ago and had not been able to get into his garden at all. Incessant rain created mud, puddles and divots, making his outdoor spaces and the garden that he loves inaccessible with his wheelchair.

A solution was found by designing the space using a high-density synthetic grass, Summer Cool HD. Soft multi-coloured grass blades, HeatBlockTM cooling technology and wheelchair friendly are all characteristics that this Geelong turf project required.

Mick can be confident any further heavy rains will pass right through the pile via a punch-hole system to the specially prepared base of crushed rock before draining away like water off a shower screen.
